Poetry (Pine Hills Review: https://pinehillsreview.com/2020/04/20/unicorns/)

Hope for Flint (haiku with commentary)  The children of Flint are still drinking unsafe water. We can come up with trillions of dollars to fix our economy, shouldn’t we be doing more to ensure safe drinking water for them? Collectively, we need to be unicorns.

Flash Fiction (Human, an Anthology: http://www.human.writingjourney.org)

All Smiles  Basic behavior is only human from our perspective. Other humans may view that behavior very differently – careful what you assume.

Personal Bubble   You dedicate your life to the mission of saving the human race. What if the thing you are saving them from is the very thing you fear the most?

Touched  Can we fully know love if touch is never an experienced part of our lives? Once we experience it, could we ever let it go?

Short Stories (Near Myths on Amazon.com)

A Tale With No Fairies  A take on Snow White and Rose Red where they are embued with power, both literally and figuratively.

Scant Structure Slayers  Perhaps the original tale was misunderstood. What if we don’t know all of the facts? The best place to get accurate information is from the newspaper.

Everglow The Little Match Girl and Oliver Twist may have been related stories. We might want to pay more close attention to the “least of us”.

Short Stories (Reasons for Hope on Amazon.com)

Peer What if you could peer into the future and see the outcome of the possibilities of your clone? Would you have a relationship? How different of a version would it be? Would you be equals? How invested would you become? Would you want to?

Once More, With Feeling A future where computers rule the arts can be a scary place for those creative minds who need inspiration from others. What if the creativity of others is what makes your own creativity work? What if getting back to your own time depended upon it?

Digital Footprint What if you were to wake and find that the only way you could get to know yourself was through your own digital footprint? What if social media was the only way you could find out who you are? Would you still want to be you?
